Job Description:

Join a respected Level 1, teaching hospital as a Respiratory Therapist on a travel contract in Boston, Massachusetts. This role supports critical care practice with a contract guarantee of 72 hours biweekly (guarantee does not include any on-call time worked). You’ll work 12-hour nights (7:00p–7:30a) with weekend and holiday rotation, and on-call is required as necessary. The assignment also involves rotation to off-shifts, so availability for nights and weekends is essential.

Day-to-day, you’ll be operating within hospital systems and workflows that rely on computer-based documentation and web applications, along with some Microsoft Office tools (which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access). If you’re looking for a high-impact respiratory role where every shift matters—and you can handle the pace of critical care in a Level 1 teaching setting—this contract is built for you. And yes, Boston makes it easier to find a good coffee after a night shift.

Weather:

Expect cool, crisp days with a mix of cloudy skies and occasional clear stretches. Nights can feel especially chilly, and you may encounter light precipitation at times, so layering is key.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Freedom Trail walk (Boston)
  • Boston Harbor sunset cruise (Boston)
  • Salem ghost tour and waterfront explore (day trip)
  • Cambridge classics and Harvard-area strolling (day trip)
  • Museum of Fine Arts visit (Boston)

Location: 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts 02115

Shift: 12 hour nights (7:00p–7:30a) with weekend/holiday rotation; on-call required

Duration: 13 weeks

Weekly commitment: 36.0 hours
