Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse in Portland, OR, for a rewarding 13-week contract. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing treatments such as chemo, stem cell infusions, and CAR-T therapy within a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center. You'll work three 12-hour days per week, primarily scheduled from 07:00 to 19:30, with opportunities for floating within scope to meet unit needs. The position emphasizes experience in medical oncology, with a focus on procedures like bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and central line care. It's an excellent setting for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced, specialized oncology environment and are comfortable handling complex treatments and symptoms while offering scheduled weekends off.
