Job Description:

Join Lees Summit Medical Center as a surgical specialist, providing critical support in the Main Operating Room. This 13-week contract involves working 10-hour days, with a focus on orthopedic, spine, vascular, general, colorectal, robotic, gynecological, and ENT procedures. The role demands strong vascular skills and familiarity with the Meditech charting system. You’ll work alongside a team of 5-6 RNs, 6 techs, an anesthesia tech, and an OR analyst, contributing to a busy surgical unit that features five ORs and a standard array of equipment. Expect to handle a typical patient ratio of 1 RN to 1 patient and be involved in various surgical procedures, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced setting. The hospital provides scrubs, and the environment encourages collaboration and professionalism in a state-of-the-art facility.
