Job Description:

Join a 13-week ICU RN contract at a bustling hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a mixed ICU that houses MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU patients. You will manage complex cases including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and surgical patients, often requiring rapid assessment and critical thinking. The unit emphasizes teamwork, with experienced staff and support personnel like CNAs, RTs, and physicians. This assignment is ideal for seasoned ICU RNs comfortable with ventilators, hemodynamic lines, and advanced therapy like Impella and CRRT. Expect to be actively involved in patient monitoring, medication management, and critical assessments, all within a fast-paced environment that clamps down on repetition and welcomes professionalism.
