Job Description:

Join a vibrant outpatient rehabilitation clinic located on the SMH-Sarasota hospital campus as a Neuro Occupational Therapist. This 13-week contract features eight-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work one-on-one with patients in 60-minute sessions, averaging about eight patients daily. Your expertise will support a diverse group of individuals recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, head trauma, Parkinson's disease, and more. Experience with paired vagus nerve stimulation (Vivistim) and familiarity with the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment are highly valued. Prior outpatient therapy experience is a must, and vestibular therapy skills are a plus. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a busy outpatient setting that encourages quick learning and adaptability. All patient care is strictly 1:1, making for meaningful, focused therapy sessions.
