Job Description:

This occupational therapy assignment offers a hands-on experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a hospital department focused on surgical and trauma cases. You'll work closely with a team led by a licensed OT and supervisor, providing therapy for patients recovering from shoulder arthroplasty, hand and UE injuries, pelvic floor issues, and vestibular conditions. Expect to treat an average of 8 outpatient and 5-12 inpatient patients daily, with responsibilities including splint making and participating in therapy sessions that often involve complex diagnoses. The role involves a standard 8-hour shift from Monday through Friday, with a focus on acute inpatient and surgical ortho cases. Prior travel experience and familiarity with EPIC are advantageous, and a Wisconsin state license or application is required.
