Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Med/Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 16-week travel contract in Wilmington, NC. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (6:45 pm - 7:15 am), with a weekly commitment of 48 hours. The nurse will handle a variety of patient diagnoses, including diabetes, COPD, sepsis, post-surgical recovery, and renal failure, among others. You’ll be essential in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing telemetry equipment, and responding to rapid response or code team activations. The setting requires adaptability as float requirements may lead you to different units or NHRMC main campus, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of care in a fast-paced environment. Unique aspects include working on a storm/hurricane team and the possibility of consolidation to a centralized office later in the contract.
