Job Description:

This critical care position in the CVICU at a prestigious Level II Trauma Center offers a rewarding opportunity to work with complex cardiac and thoracic surgical patients. As a skilled ICU nurse with at least three years of ICU experience and one year in CVICU, you'll be responsible for invasive line monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, and administering cardiac medications. The role involves 12-hour day or night shifts on a six-week schedule, providing a chance to experience a fast-paced and highly specialized environment while collaborating with a dedicated team of intensivists, surgeons, and support staff. The unit's focus on post-op cardiac and thoracic surgery patients makes this assignment uniquely challenging and fulfilling for those passionate about advanced critical care nursing.
