Job Description:

This assignment places you in a vibrant perioperative environment focusing on a wide range of surgical procedures, including gynecology, general, robotics, urology, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, endoscopy, and more. As a scrub tech or first assist, you'll support surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting with complex procedures, and ensuring equipment readiness—often working alongside experienced clinicians in a fast-paced, high-volume OR setting. The role emphasizes independence in scrub techniques and the ability to assist as a first assist, providing a hands-on experience that keeps your skills sharp. A notable aspect is the rotation through diverse case types, offering a comprehensive exposure that enhances your surgical proficiency. Expect a schedule with three shifts—early morning, late afternoon, and overnight—within an 8-week cycle, each shift demanding 8 hours of dedicated surgical support.
