Job Description:

Join a prestigious ICU team as a Registered Nurse in the vibrant city of New Orleans. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, demanding a steady commitment of 36 hours per week. The role involves caring for critically ill patients in a unit that maintains a patient ratio of 1:2, with responsibilities including managing complex cases, collaborating with healthcare providers, and adapting to a variety of ICU environments such as MICU, Neuro, TICU, and Burn units. Weekend shifts are required, but there’s no call duty involved. The unit prefers candidates with Epic experience and certifications like ACLS and BLS, with CCRN preferred. Navy blue scrubs are worn, and strict adherence to shift timings ensures schedule consistency. Note that this unit does not accept first-time travelers, emphasizing experienced professionals ready to hit the ground running.
