Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse contract offers an engaging night shift on a busy Oncology/MedSurg unit where you'll play a vital role in caring for patients with diverse diagnoses such as cancer, sepsis, and post-surgical recovery. The position involves managing complex procedures like chemo administration, central line care, and wound management, all while maintaining a focus on patient safety. With a schedule of 12-hour nights spanning 13 weeks, you'll experience a chance to hone specialized skills in a fast-paced setting without the usual daytime duties. The assignment's unique aspect comes from its requirement for alertness during overnight hours and the opportunity to contribute during emergency and disaster situations, including storm or hurricane responses.
