Job Description:

Join us as a Registered Nurse in a busy Med/Surg unit, where you'll be part of a team managing a diverse patient population, including post-operative cases, telemetry patients, and those with chronic conditions like CHF and Diabetes. This role involves hands-on skills such as IV insertion, wound care, and chest tube management, with the added perk of remote telemetry monitoring so you can focus on direct patient care without reading strips. You'll experience a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes, with shifts rotating between nights and days, and opportunities for some OT. The role offers a chance to work in a 34-bed facility, with a supportive team including CNAs, a unit secretary, and hospitalists in-house, all using EPIC for charting. Expect to support your colleagues with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:5-6, and occasional float to other units.
