Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you on a busy cardiac and telemetry unit in Bismarck, North Dakota, working 12-hour day shifts. You'll be responsible for managing adult and geriatric patients with diverse cardiac and medical conditions, including post-procedural care from cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and patients with Covid Bipap, pneumonia, and sepsis. The role requires experience reading ECG strips, titrating medications like Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix, and troubleshooting ventilators such as Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow. Your days will involve interpreting telemetry monitors, collaborating with charge nurses and patient care techs, and managing a patient load of approximately 4–5 patients, occasionally 5–6 on nights. Flexibility for first-time travelers is appreciated, and Epic EMR experience is preferred. The setting offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your clinical skills directly impact patient outcomes.
