Job Description:

This telemetry unit in Prescott, AZ, offers a rewarding contract for registered nurses who excel in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips, with a focus on patients diagnosed with conditions such as CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, GI problems, diabetics, post-cath care, and total joint replacements. The role involves working 12-hour days on a four-week schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts, with opportunities to float to other units as needed. A background in Telemetry and experience with CVA and TIA is essential. Cerner system familiarity is recommended, and RN’s are expected to read strips and sign off at least once per shift. This assignment provides a dynamic setting for clinicians interested in expanding their cardiac care skills and working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
