Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in the CVICU of Morgantown offers a chance to work with a dedicated team handling complex cardiac and thoracic cases, including ECMO, LVAD, and transplant patients. The unit operates with a 1:2 or 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and requires experienced RNs who can manage titratable infusions such as inotropes and sedatives. Shifts are 12-hour rotating days and nights, with weekend expectations aligned to a set schedule. You'll be supporting critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment while gaining valuable specialized skills. The unit emphasizes collaboration with intensivists and APPs, requiring attention to detail and hands-on expertise in critical care protocols.
