Job Description:

This RN opportunity at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital offers a unique chance to work in a specialized inpatient rehab setting on Madison's east side. The role involves 12-hour night shifts (6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) for a 13-week contract, with an expected commitment of 36 hours per week. You'll be providing critical nursing care to high-acuity adult patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic conditions. The unit functions similarly to a medical-surgical floor, requiring nurses to assist with patient safety, answer call lights, and support the interdisciplinary team. Previous Med-Surg or inpatient rehab experience with Epic EMR proficiency is a must. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced environment and a chance to make a meaningful difference in patients’ recoveries.
