Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a 24-week contract at Mercy Hospital South. This role involves providing specialized patient care on the Cardiac Stepdown unit during overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll work closely with post-op CABG, valve, thoracotomy, respiratory failure, and chest pain patients, utilizing your skills in assessing, planning, and delivering comprehensive care. The unit is equipped with advanced technology such as chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and BiPAP machines. This assignment offers a chance to experience a busy cardiac unit with a focus on teamwork, using EPIC electronic health records, while keeping your skills sharp in a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged and challenged.
