Job Description:

This travel opportunity places you in the highly specialized Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CVSICU) at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, renowned for its cutting-edge cardiac care. As a nurse in this 18-bed unit, you'll work with patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries, including transplant procedures and VAD placements. Your day will involve managing post-op cardiac patients receiving intensive therapies such as mechanical ventilation, vasoactive medications, and advanced life support devices like ECMO and IABP. The role is set for 12-hour day shifts, focusing on close monitoring and swift response in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This assignment offers a chance to hone your skills in a prestigious institution while experiencing the critical care of some of the most complex cardiac patients.
