Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN position in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Springfield offers opportunities to work in a fast-paced, urban trauma setting. The role involves providing direct patient care across all age groups, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Shifts are 12 hours, primarily mids, with flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week. Expect high-acuity cases such as trauma, stroke, and STEMI, with patient ratios typically around 4:1. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, decisiveness, and adaptability, with a focus on high-quality, efficient care. Be prepared to utilize your trauma experience and your ability to handle a busy emergency department that serves over 200 patients daily.
