Job Description:

Join a bustling Level III trauma Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse specializing in adult and pediatric emergency care. This 13-week contract places you in a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients, where you'll manage everything from triage and medication administration to assisting with trauma cases and complex procedures like chest tube setups and art lines. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care in a large-volume ED that handles 200 to 250 patients daily. Your expertise with EMR systems like Epic, along with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC will be essential to navigate the high-energy, high-stakes setting effectively. This role offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your emergency skills across a wide age range and diverse patient presentations, from neonates to geriatric patients.
