Job Description:

This contract position in Zanesville, Ohio, offers an opportunity for a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to work in a vascular operating room setting. The role involves assisting in advanced orthopedic, neuro, and vascular surgeries, with responsibilities including preparation of the operating room, instrument management, and responding swiftly to call requests. The schedule typically involves 36 to 40 hours per week, with some weekends, after-hours, and potential holiday call rotations. The work environment calls for flexibility and quick critical thinking, especially during high-demand periods when floating to general surgery areas may be required. Candidates should have a solid background in surgical technology, familiarity with high-level instrumentation, and the ability to adapt to varied surgical cases while maintaining safe and efficient operating room practices.
