Job Description:

Join the Labor and Delivery team at IU Health in Indianapolis for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role is dedicated to experienced Registered Nurses specializing in obstetric care, offering a chance to work in a facility processing 200-300 births per month. You'll perform a variety of high-level obstetric procedures including external and internal fetal monitoring, management of pre-eclampsia, VBACs, and assisting with high-risk deliveries. The position involves delivering care alongside a primary RN within a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to refine your skills in a busy, high-volume hospital setting. Expect to arrive 30 minutes early on first shifts at Methodist Hospital for a quick orientation. This assignment is ideal for dedicated RNs with at least 1.5 years of obstetric experience, ready to handle a broad scope of labor and delivery procedures, including neonatal resuscitation, complex fetal monitoring, and post-delivery care.
