Job Description:

Join an esteemed hospital in Charlottesville, VA, as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract working overnight shifts. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, with opportunities to cross-train in Mother/Baby units and potentially float to NICU. You’ll manage private labor and triage rooms, support both low- and high-risk pregnancies—including mothers with maternal-fetal medicine needs—and assist with fetal monitoring and AWHONN intermediate skills. Expect a busy schedule during nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, covering 36 hours weekly, with the chance to extend your assignment through early 2027.
