Job Description:

This surgical RN role places you in a large, academic hospital setting with over 500 beds, where you'll rotate through different operating rooms including cardiovascular, general, ortho, neuro, and ENT. You will scrub and circulate for diverse procedures, with a focus on cardiovascular and open-heart cases. The shift involves 12-hour rotating schedules, typically with one or two weekday call shifts, plus one full weekend of call every five weeks. Flexibility is key to meet unit needs and patient care demands. Recent OR experience, familiarity with Epic EMR, and prior travel assignments are required to ensure smooth workflow in this high-volume, teaching hospital environment. The role offers tiered pay based on mileage, with work occurring at a well-equipped facility that emphasizes experience and adaptability.
