Job Description:
This emergency department RN contract offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a busy urban hospital in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for managing a wide variety of cases, from trauma stabilization to respiratory illnesses and behavioral health, across a patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics. The role involves providing critical care procedures such as cardiac rhythm interpretation, administering critical drips, and managing conscious sedation. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts over 13 weeks, with a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,666.67. You'll experience a fast-paced environment and have the challenge of floating across multiple facilities within the region, including freestanding EDs, with support from a dedicated team of physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other specialists. This assignment is ideal for experienced ED RNs looking to broaden their skills and work in a dynamic setting that keeps you on your toes.
