Job Description:

Join a vibrant emergency room team in Charlottesville, VA, as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a flexible schedule that varies based on staffing needs, including every other holiday. You'll be responsible for providing critical nursing support in a fast-paced ER setting, with an emphasis on patient stabilization and rapid response. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience a busy urban hospital environment and develop your skills in trauma and pediatric care. You will work approximately 36 hours per week, with weekly gross earnings around $1,793. This position requires at least 2 years of recent ER experience at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center, including some pediatric cases, and the ability to obtain or hold current Virginia licensure. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required before start, with some certifications possibly pending approval. Time off requests are limited to 40 hours maximum.
