Job Description:

Join this engaging 13-week contract as an OB/L&D nurse in Bemidji, Minnesota, working 12-hour night shifts. You will provide essential care to postpartum women, antepartum patients, and newborns, with opportunities to support GYN, Med-Surg overflow, and assist in the Special Care Nursery. Floats as needed to Med-Surg and Telemetry units mean you’ll experience a variety of patient cases, keeping your skills sharp. The role emphasizes hands-on involvement in labor and postpartum, with a chance to utilize your circulating skills if you have them. Equipment used includes EPIC One Chart, Philips Vitals Machines, and Medfusion Pumps, among others. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of OB/L&D experience, holds current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and an active Minnesota RN license. A flexible, team-oriented nurse with a calm demeanor and a readiness to adapt to changing unit needs will thrive here. Expect a lively, supportive environment with approximately 5 mother/baby couplets, 2 pediatrics, and additional GYN and SCN patients.
