Job Description:

Join our team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Omaha, Nebraska, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role offers an opportunity to care for cardiovascular patients in a specialized 49-bed unit that handles complex cases like heart and lung transplants and Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs). Expect to float frequently within the hospital to meet staffing needs, working alongside care techs, transport teams, and other professionals. The unit operates with patient ratios of 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights, with occasional ratios of 1:7. To qualify, candidates need at least 2 years of recent experience in a large, urban hospital setting, with BLS and ACLS certifications, and EPIC charting experience. Travelers are responsible for working two major holidays and must comply with hospital scrubs and parking policies. This assignment provides a fast-paced environment where your expertise in cardiovascular care will make a meaningful difference.
