Job Description:
This ICU nursing contract offers an immersive experience in a Level II Trauma Center with over 300 beds, primarily focusing on critical care in the MICU and SICU units. You will be responsible for managing complex cases such as ECMO at times, neuro-monitoring including 24-hour EEG, bedside procedures like trach insertions and arterial line placements, and participating in trauma and organ recovery procedures. To thrive here, you should have prior Level I or II trauma center experience, familiarity with high-acuity patients, and skills in titrating ICU drips such as sedation and vasopressors. The role is set in a busy hospital environment, with a mix of day and night shifts, and requires adaptability to float between units when needed. Expect an engaging, fast-paced workload that challenges your skills and knowledge, all while working with a dedicated team of intensivists and hospitalists.
