Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the oncology unit at a busy hospital in Peoria, Illinois, where you'll be part of a dedicated team focusing on cancer and hematology patient care. This contract offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts in a 19-bed private room environment, administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy medications, and managing side effects in patients with lymphoma, leukemia, and other cancer types. You'll gain hands-on experience with chemo handling procedures, monitor patients for medication reactions, and collaborate with charge RNs and PCTs to deliver quality care. The role includes a comprehensive orientation and the opportunity to contribute to a supportive oncology team, with flexible scheduling tailored to the unit’s needs.
