Job Description:

Join a dedicated Nursing team in Hastings, NE, for a 13-week contract on our Medical-Surgical unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) providing vital support for a variety of patient needs, including dementia, post-surgical care, influenza, pneumonia, and COVID-19. This role offers the chance to gain experience with chest tubes, pain management, TPN, wounds, and potentially take on charge nurse duties if you have the background. The unit is staffed with nurse aides and telemonitor techs to assist, and you can expect to float to PCU when needed. The environment encourages flexibility, and the schedule typically includes every third weekend and holiday coverage. You'll participate in a short but comprehensive orientation to ensure you're set up for success. This assignment promises a lively but rewarding environment where your skills truly matter.
