Job Description:

This travel nursing position in a Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population, ranging from young adults to geriatrics. The role involves managing complex cases such as sepsis, STEMI, COVID, strokes, and renal failure. You'll be responsible for titrating drips including sedation, paralytics, and pressors, while collaborating with charge nurses and patient care techs. Expect to perform bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and utilize a remote monitoring system. The assignment is unique in its focus on critical thinking, learning new skills, and embracing cultural diversity within the community. The shift is 12 hours overnight, requiring flexibility and attentiveness in a busy but rewarding setting.
