Job Description:

This critical care cardiovascular nursing role offers a chance to work in a busy hospital setting, focusing on advanced procedures such as Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversion. You will be responsible for administering conscious sedation, monitoring patients post-procedure, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and collaborating closely with the care team. The shift is scheduled during standard daytime hours, and the workload includes managing approximately 40 patients daily across two rooms, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1. This assignment is ideal for nurses with at least two years of critical care experience and specialized certifications such as ACLS and BLS. While the role requires minimal orientation, you will engage in a fast-paced environment demanding strong assessment skills and the ability to work across units as needed. The hospital values professionalism and patient safety, with nurses dressing in Sanford navy blue scrubs and participating in rotating weekend and holiday call to support complex procedures.
