Job Description:

Join a specialized team as a Pre-op/PACU/Cath Lab Procedural Recovery Nurse in this 13-week travel contract, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a chance to provide critical care to patients before and after complex procedures such as interventional radiology and cardiology cases. You will assess patient readiness, monitor vital signs, manage access sites, administer medications, and ensure smooth patient transitions from the operating room or cath lab to recovery. Every shift presents an opportunity to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, hone your technical skills with specialized equipment, and educate patients and families about their recovery process. This assignment stands out with its focus on procedural recovery in a fast-paced environment requiring precise clinical judgment and compassionate care.
