Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse contract offers a fast-paced environment in a Level 1 Trauma Center, where you'll play a critical role in managing high patient volumes and complex cases. Expect to work 12-hour mids shifts (13:00 - 01:30), with a commitment of 48 hours per week over a span of 13 weeks. The assignment features a challenging but rewarding setting, with an emphasis on trauma and pediatric emergencies, including potential float to Pediatric Emergency Department. You will be working during weekends (Fri-Sun), with flexibility on scheduled days, and may be called upon for on-call duties. This position requires prior trauma experience, certification compliance, and the ability to adapt to fluctuating patient ratios that can reach up to 8:1. Local candidates are welcomed, and all travelers must adhere to submission of RTO requests at the time of submittal. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-intensity situations and want to make a meaningful impact in emergency medicine.
