Job Description:

Join a busy cardiovascular surgical unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract focusing on night shifts. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekly commitment of approximately 36 hours. Flexibility is essential, as weekend shifts are required roughly 50% of the time, and the ability to float across different levels of care such as Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU is expected. Candidates must be comfortable precepting students and working at teaching facilities, often in a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking and adaptability. This assignment offers the chance to gain valuable experience in cardiovascular procedures, arrhythmias, and CHF management, all while working in a renowned hospital setting just a short drive from downtown Indianapolis.
