Job Description:

Join a dedicated Behavioral Health team as a Registered Nurse for this 13-week night shift assignment in Salisbury, North Carolina. You'll be providing specialized psychiatric care to patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression in a unit that values experienced and compassionate professionals. This role involves working four 12-hour night shifts per week, caring for geriatric patients with behavioral health needs, including those with degenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's, ALS, and Parkinson's. Your expertise in managing complex psychiatric conditions and familiarity with systems like Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR will be essential. With a patient census averaging 15 and a maximum staff-to-patient ratio of 1:8, this assignment offers a focused and engaging environment that emphasizes stability and patient engagement. Flexibility is key, as float requirements and weekend shifts every other week are part of the schedule. Note that RTO (leave requests) after booking is not permitted, and there is no call requirement, making this a predictable yet impactful assignment.
