Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a 26-week contract in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15, with a four-day workweek totaling 36 hours. The nurse will provide direct patient care for medical/surgical units, managing medications such as Heparin and Insulin, and utilizing systems like Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR for documentation and communication. You'll need at least two years of recent RN experience, hold current BCLS certification, and be able to float to similar units at least once a week. RTO (Return to Office) requests are not permitted after booking, and staff may be called upon during emergency situations like storms or disasters. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience acute care in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a focus on rapid, efficient patient care in a fast-paced setting.
