Job Description:

This travel RN position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Central Maine Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized care in a Level 3 trauma facility. Shifts are scheduled from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, covering 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. The role involves managing neonates and adult patients, utilizing equipment such as EFM and IVs, and collaborating with the team to care for a diverse patient population. The assignment challenges RNs to apply their neonatal care expertise while experiencing a vibrant community setting. It's a chance to deepen your skills in obstetrical and postpartum care, including triage, use of fetal monitoring, and post-delivery recovery, all within an environment that values both experience and initiative.
