Job Description:

Join a high-stakes ICU team in Rapid City, SD, where you'll be responsible for caring for complex medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients. This 13-week travel contract requires critical thinking, ventilator management, and IV medication skills, including experience with vasopressors, sedation, and proning. You'll work 12-hour night shifts in a mixed ICU pod, with patient ratios typically at 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity. This role is perfect for experienced ICU RNs comfortable with Epic charting, hemodynamic lines, and advanced clinical interventions. The unit values teamwork and expects you to occasionally precept students, all while supporting a fast-paced environment that challenges your expertise. Prior travel experience is required, and familiarity with Impella, IABP, or CRRT is strongly preferred.
