Job Description:

Join a short-term acute care hospital in Lancaster, SC, as a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an at least 48-hour weekly commitment. You will float within your scope across units and possibly between facilities, providing vital support in a fast-paced environment. The position requires at least two years of travel RN experience, with proficiency in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias. You’ll need to hold a South Carolina or Compact license, as well as BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. The facility prefers candidates with additional telemetry experience and the ability to manage complex rhythm interpretations. From completing all required modules prior to start to participating in staff meetings, your active engagement is key. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a facility with 97 beds, without the need for patient care responsibilities but with critical support roles in the telemetry unit. Weekend coverage every other week ensures a balanced schedule, and guaranteed hours mean minimal disruption to your plans.
