Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a specialized cardiac telemetry unit where you'll be responsible for monitoring adult patients with complex vascular and hemodynamic conditions. The role requires self-studying telemetry strips, passing a basic dysrhythmia test in the first week to qualify for CCU work, and integrating into an environment that emphasizes assessment, intervention, and evaluation. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, emphasizing your expertise in cardiac and stroke patients. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, with the opportunity to work overtime, and requires availability every other weekend and holiday, with occasional on-call duties during low census periods. Prior Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is essential, and you'll be expected to respond quickly if called upon outside regular hours.
