Job Description:
Join our team as a L&D nurse in Colorado Springs for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a unique chance to circulate in the OR during C-sections, with an emphasis on high-risk obstetrics and antepartum complications. You will be supporting a unit that handles a significant number of births daily and operates under the guidance of AWHONN ratios, following established high-risk protocols. The position requires at least two years of high-risk labor and delivery experience, with the ability to titrate drips like oxytocin and magnesium sulfate. You’ll work alongside surgical techs and APPs in a Level III NICU setting, with in-house anesthesia but no neonatologist on-site 24/7. The schedule is self-driven but professional collaboration is key, and floating to postpartum is expected. This assignment provides an engaging environment where your expertise directly impacts maternal and newborn outcomes, all while experiencing the vibrant Colorado Springs community.
