Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a bustling obstetrics unit, where you'll deliver comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, postpartum, and neonatal resuscitation situations. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing vital support during urgent pregnancies and delivery moments. You'll clock in and out at the designated labor and delivery suites, collaborate with in-house OB/Neonatologist teams, and manage a variety of conditions such as pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal respiratory distress. Expect to handle stable newborns and participate in high-stakes scenarios involving neonatal resuscitation, all while following established protocols and safety procedures. This assignment is ideal for experienced labor and delivery RNs seeking a rewarding, fast-paced environment with the opportunity to refine their skills in a specialized setting.
