Job Description:

Join a 13-week contract as an ER RN in Carlsbad, NM, where you'll be on a 12-hour night shift from 6:30pm to 7am. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4:1, floating across different areas as needed and providing critical care to patients during overnight hours. Expect to perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team, all while demonstrating leadership and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment. Note that this position is for experienced RNs with at least 2 years of ER background, trauma experience, and specific certifications like ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC. Floating and call responsibilities are part of the job, and all travelers must adhere to the specific uniform and EMR protocols. Transportation coordination and adherence to fingerprinting requirements for New Mexico are essential for onboarding.
