Job Description:

Join a busy surgical-medical unit as an RN in Lewiston, ME, for an engaging 14-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role involves managing a high patient turnover in a 37-bed telemetry unit, providing care for a diverse adult patient population including bariatric, trauma, urology, and general surgery cases. Your expertise in dysrhythmia interpretation and management will be crucial, as you'll navigate a fast-paced environment that thrives on skilled, adaptable nurses. Expect to work every other weekend and collaborate with a specialized Ultrasound IV team for efficient vascular access. This assignment offers the chance to gain experience in a Level III Trauma Center, with access to state-of-the-art equipment like Baxter IV pumps and electronic health records systems such as Epic.
