Job Description:

This RN position in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital South offers a 13-week assignment working 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will be responsible for delivering direct patient care to a diverse adult population in a Level 2 trauma center, including trauma patients, stroke cases, and STEMI emergencies. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and coordination with ancillary teams in a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes. Unique to this assignment is the exchange between high-acuity trauma cases and routine care, providing a well-rounded experience with a focus on trauma and emergency response protocols.
