Job Description:

This registered nurse role in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a chance to work in a busy, high-acuity setting with a variety of patient types such as AFIB/RVR, DKA, COPD, and post-heart cath care. The position involves a 12-hour night shift on a 13-week contract, with opportunities to experience a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and skillful management of titratable medications, chest tubes, and drains are essential. Perfect for RNs with at least 2 years of acute care experience, especially those who enjoy diverse patient cases and collaborative teamwork. The assignment is unique due to its specific shift schedule, orientation process, and the chance to work on a unit with centralized telemonitoring and advanced charting systems, all while contributing to patient recovery in a lively hospital setting.
