Job Description:

Join the team at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia, for a rewarding 13-week RN contract in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves providing specialized recovery care for patients emerging from surgery across a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, vascular, urology, and gynecology, among others. You'll work in a unit with a high patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1, managing patients of all ages and conditions. The shift is scheduled for 8-hour days, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, be certified/licensed to work as an RN in WV, and hold required certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC prior to start. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a Level 3 Trauma Center and work with advanced equipment, including standard critical care tools and Meditech EHR.
