Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a well-regarded trauma hospital, where you'll manage a mix of adult and pediatric post-anesthesia patients during 12-hour night shifts. The role involves caring for patients recovering from complex surgeries, including trauma cases, burns, and other critical procedures. Experience with trauma level 1 environments, pediatric, and adult critical care is essential. You’ll navigate scenarios like pediatric ICU patients awaiting beds, post-op pediatric abdominal surgeries, and burn recovery cases, sometimes on short notice. This assignment is perfect for nurses who thrive in fast-paced settings and are comfortable with diverse, acute patient populations.
